Our Fees

We will guide you through the funeral choices available at your pace and give you a clear, written estimate of how much the funeral will cost based on the arrangements you have chosen.  You will never be rushed, and you do not have to arrange everything in one go.

Every funeral we arrange is unique and it is the choices that you make that will determin the final cost of the funeral.  Whatever is requested of us, we will never comprimis our high quality service.  There are no hidden extras.

Terms of business
On every occasion we issue a confirmation of arrangements made, which includes a full estimate of the complete charges.
We require all disbursement fees to be paid in full, 4 working days prior to the funeral.
All unattended funerals will need to be paid in full before taking place.
The balance of the a/c will be sent 1 week after the funeral. It is expected for the outstanding payment to be made within 30 days.
If no payment or contact has been made within 60 days giving assurance of
payment, the account will be forwarded to third party debt recovery company and additional recovery/legal costs will be incurred.

The ultimate owners of HL Hawes & Son Funeral Directors are West & Coe Ltd, owned by the West family.
Jeremy West is the Chairman and Managing Director.
